I am a Couch Potato!

It's been long since my last write up. Apparently I have been busy with my new job and has been for 6 months now. I had to close my shop for the meantime and stopped writing as well.

It has been a roller coaster ride, this last 6 months. Fall in and out of Love. Busy at work. And now I am back to where I was 6 months ago. Bored. It feels good being me again. This is the real me, always bored and can't enough of the web and the TV. I am not like the other girls of my age, who's probably out right now at this hour, partying. That's just not my thang!

Weekends? Blogging, updating my social network site, downloading movies, watching, then downloading TV series, then watching again. That's how I spend my weekends, normally. Yeah I get bored! But that's me, bored of myself and what I do, but that's what makes me happy too.

Anyway, last month was great for me. Aside from realization that I am better off alone, good things happened too. Well, my favorite TV series all started their new Seasons on that month!

There's Glee on it's second season(even though I kind of hate it when Charice join the cast ~kyaah!~), The Vampire Diaries too! 2 hot vampires + 1 hot female human + 1 hot friend's uncle werewolf. Also CSI: Las Vegas on it's 11th Season and Supernatural Season 6. Also, another addition to the list was Nikita, hot asian former black ops agent turned rogue. A new CW hit series starring Maggie Q and Shane West.

So, my weekends were really busy. Even though I only stay in front of my Computer, still it was eventful for me. haha! You probably think I am taking break on my K-poping? Hell no! I just managed to fit them all on my not so busy-lazy girl schedule!

"My Fair Lady" Otaku Artist Review

First, I had to say that I had a great Valentines day spend on front of the TV. ^^;

I finished watching Yoon Eun Hye's(my favorite Korean Actress) "My Fair Lady".

Despite the harsh and negative comments and reviews I have read about it last year, I still bought the DVD and watched it this month.

To be honest, and I am not just saying this as a YEH fan, those comments are rather deceiving aside from being harsh. I have been watching a lot of Korean Drama for years now and I first saw YEH @ Goong when it was aired in the Philippines last 2007, I can say when a Drama is good or not and this is not a bad one, and I can say that YEH is really a good actress. It may be true that her acting in My fair Lady is a little lacking compared to her last project "Coffee Prince 1st Shop", but it may only be because of the character she is portraying. It's a first to see her act as an heiress or a elegant rich girl, as she is known to play a role of a commoner and has been known and successful with it. May be her first but not disappointing at all as others have said. Those netizens are just exaggerating and obviously bashing her intentionally.

Some scenes may be a little dragging but only a few of them, most episodes and scenes are exciting and moving. I normally cry on a moving a scene on a Drama, it only proves that what I am watching is good and the actors/actress are able to connect with the viewers with their characters, and I did cried a couple of times on this one.

I must give 5 stars out of 5 to Yoon Sang Hyun for his acting, although this is the 1st time I have watched him, I already liked him on the 1st episode. He may not shown a tear flow on his eyes but whenever the camera focus on him you could see the emotion on his eyes. He really connected with YEH.

A 3 stars out of 5 to Jung Il Woo, I liked him better on Return of Iljimae but he is also not that bad here. I can only agree to netizens that says he doesn't connect or there is not chemistry between him and YEh here, only because they don't have that much of a good scene. Also, some wrote that how can his character falls for Kang Hae na and bought a ring if they haven't kissed yet. That is an absurd question, loving someone cannot be measured or tested on skinship, it can only adds up to its foundation.

After watching this, I only proved that the write ups about the DRAMA being un-original and dragging is wrong. All in all, I am giving this Drama 4.5 stars. Because of its uniqueness, it's a cinderella story but only this time, Cinderella is a guy played by YOON SANG HYUN. Also it has alot of suspense, because the couple went on and off on the story, leaving you at the edge of your seat asking will they ever be together without any hindrance?

I am truly am recommending this Drama to all. And please ignore the comments from others that says this one is not good, because it will really worth your time to watch.

I can't wait for another from Yoon Eun Hye, and I am silently hoping that she will make another project with either Goong Yoo or Yoon Sang Hyun. ^^;

A Primadonna's Dilemma

I sat there, my mind is wandering.

I am worried now.

I have been a full pledge Primadonna weeks ago, and have hear a good news that my idols are coming...that made me happy, then, uneasy, then worried.

FT Island in the Philippines by March 6 is getting near.

And up to now as I checked my wallet I don't have enough cash for the ticket!!!

I bet my friend is feeling the same way too for she is also saving for the SUPER JUNIOR SUPER SHOW that will also be held here in Philippines by April.

An ELF and a PRIMADONNA's dilemma. Its not everyday that you have the chance to see your foreign Idols on your country for a showcase.

If I don't get to see them, I will definitely feel sad for I have missed the chance, but yeah! that's life!

I just hope when BIGBANG's V.I.P.s and 2NE1's BLACKJACKS are needed one day I can be there for them.. kekekeke

Jung Yong Hwa's role in recent big hit K-Drama helped the band to get more popularity in their home country, as they have been more popular in Japan since debut in Aug 2009 with "Now or Never" followed by "Voice" in November 2009.
